Gateways
With several gateway plugins JoomISP integrates just perfectly in your current processes. With just one click you can create the webhosting account on your server out of JoomISP without manually entering the data in your control panel. JoomISP also supports many payment gateways so that you can give your customer all the payment options they want to have.
New: Voucher codes
In JoomISP it is now possible to generate voucher codes. Whether you generate hundreds of vouchers for a deal promotion or single vouchers for your most loyal customers: Simply generate the voucher codes in the Joomla! backend and the customers will get the defined discount (percentage or absolute value) when they enter the voucher code at the end of the order process.

All offers, orders, customers and domains can be managed via Joomla! backend. Customers can also view their orders in the frontend.

JoomISP 1.3 Stable is now available

The new version JoomISP 1.3 for Joomla! 1.7.x and 2.5.x is now available in the download section (Downloads -> JoomISP for Joomla! 1.7 and Joomla! 2.5 -> Component). You can upgrade from JoomISP 1.2.1 to the new version by simply installing the installation package in Joomla (without deinstalling the old version). All data and the configuration will be kept. You should anyway backup your database before doing the upgrade.
Because of fundamental code changes old versions control panel plugins and the whois module are not compatible with JoomISP 1.3. When upgrading the component to JoomISP 1.3 please make sure that you also upgrade these extensions to the latest version. For all these extensions new versions for JoomISP 1.3 are available in the download section.
Main Improvements
- New menu item type "Customer Data" (frontend): The customers can now edit their customer data in the frontend. Optionally the administrator will be notified for any changes (parameter in the configuration). Beside the address and payment data the customer can also change his password. Therewith the menu item type replaces the menu item type of Joomla to change the account details.
- New menu item type "Server Credentials" (frontend): For the orders you can now optionally choose on which server you created the webhosting account and provide the credentials of the server control panel. With the server control panel plugins these information are automatically stored when creating the account. With these information the customer get an overview of his accounts in the frontend. Also links to the server control panel can be provided. For security reasons it is not possible to provide the account passwords.
- New menu item type "Invoices" (frontend): The use of this menu item type is only useful in connection with a accounting plugin (at the moment only available for German customers). Without an accounting plugin a text with the customer number is shown. If you want to link to your external generated invoices you can do so by inserting a link with the customer number.
- Multilingualism: It is now possible to run JoomISP on a multilingual website. Before this was not possible especially because only one configuration was possible. Plans, Features and Feature categories can still not be translated because you can use the Joomla functionality for creating menu items for each language. On the new demo site you see an example for a multilingual website. Please have a look there to see how you can setup a multilingual website. Only the following items can be translated within JoomISP:
- the JoomISP configuration
- order and domain states
- order steps and e-mail texts
JoomISP 1.2.1 Stable released

As of now the new version JoomISP 1.2.1 Stable is available in the download area. With this version 5 bugs were fixed and 2 smaller feature requests were implemented.
JoomISP 1.2 published

Since today the new stable version for Joomla! 1.7 (JoomISP 1.2) is available for download. Already in early September a first beta version for Joomla! 1.7 was published. Since then several bugs were fixed and new features were implemented, so that JoomISP was already tested a lot.
With the release of JoomISP 1.2 also plugins for Confixx and IspCP Omega were released at the same time. With the plugins you can create an user account on your server with only one click out of the Joomla! backend. All data is imported to your control panel and the customer automatically get an email with the login credentials.
